ARK Oval dance at packed Fairfield Halls as part of Croydon Schools Dance Festival

Children from Years 2 to 6 were part of the Croydon Schools Dance Association "The Art of Expression" event at Fairfield Halls on Tuesday 15th March 20 16. They performed a dance called I' choose me' adapted to included the school SPIRIT values that was choreographed and organised by the Dance Team headed by Miss Rutherford.

The Team performed twice on the day in front of hundreds of parents and members of the public and other Croydon Schools. They shared the school’s moto of Striving for Excellence through the art of dance and they did a wonderful job.

The dancers from KS I were: Roshni,Taylon, Mad, Lauren, Rihanna, Blina, Kaira, Jennifer.

The dancers from KS2 were: Tahira, Jaycee, Callum, Berfin, Milan, Dayton, Beatrix, Shaznae, Ornela, Shiloh, Sana, Brandon Yaa, Michelle and Sara.

Other schools taken part included: Old Palace Preparatory, Winterboure Nursery & Infant School, Old Palace of John Whitgift (Seniors) Independent Girls School, The Hayes Primary School, Howard Primary School, Virgo Fidelis Convent Senior School, Ridgeway Primary School Ks1, West Thornton Primary Academy, Ridgeway Primary School KS2, Virgo Fidelis Convent Senior School, Regina Coeli Catholic Primary School, Oasis Academy Coulson, Coulsdon CofE Primary School, Shirley High School, St Chad's Roman Catholic Primary School, Beaumont Primary School, Woodcote High School, Keston Primary School, Gresham Primary School, Oasis Academy Coulsdon and St Thomas Becket Catholic Primary School.
