Pharmacy First

The scheme is available to everyone living or working in the borough of Croydon, including parents and carers.

If you have a minor aliment it the quickest way  to get treatment  and advice from a health professional.  If you are suffering for one fo the aliments listed below, you may not need to go to your GP for treatment. So, instead of waiting  for a GP's appointment, visit your local community Pharmacy first.

No appointment is necessary and the pharmacist will always offer advice and if appropriate they will supply medicine.   The medicine is free for patients who are eligible for free prescription (you will need to show proof of exemption).  Patients who have to pay for prescriptions will pay the current prescription charge.  If the medicine costs less than the prescription charge, then the  patient would be informed  of this so they can purchase it instead.

With so many parents now having internet access, we've decided to make our school reading lists available online. These reading lists set out recommended books for every year group. We hope this will prove very convenient for parents and save a lot of time that might be spent trawling shops for the books.

The service is provided free by a website called and all the books are available to buy at a 25% discount. Uniquely, schools and parents can download a free Opening Extract of each book to find out which their children will most enjoy before buying. And for every £100 spent by parents of our school we are given a £5 book voucher to purchase more books for our school library, benefiting your child even further.

Go to the web address and go to our online reading lists here.

You will be asked to register as a parent and create your own account. It's free, and very important as it enables us to be sent our free book vouchers for the school library. All you need is an email address and a password that you can remember.

Once you have registered you will need to LOGIN each time you visit the school reading lists.

After registration you will be sent to the school's book page and there just click on any of the book lists to see the books in those lists.

Finally, please remember to bookmark our school's page to make it easier for you next time you visit the site.
