On Tuesday 24th February, Ark Oval competed in the Ark Primary Spelling Bee. Each academy was invited to bring a team of eight spellers to compete against other Ark Schools. Our team consisted of Giovanna, Jiya, Varsha, Jia Xing, Felipe, Varshini, Laura and Marlisha. They did an amazing job within the four rounds and demonstrated great team work. In fact, judges were so impressed by their spelling abilities; they were having to pull out words seen on the Years 7 and 8 spelling lists! The team’s hard work and determination paid off and we were proud to achieve 3rd place.
