Our Week - 15-19th March 2021

Sunday 21 March 2021

Principals Summary

Thank you to all of you who have been so supportive over the current period. The work with the community is all-important to us as a school. We welcome your feedback.

We need your support in one matter - attendance; right now, this is the most crucial aspect that you as parents can help us. We must have the children in school as much as possible - it makes it incredibly difficult for us to identify and address the children's education if they aren't here...

COVID Plans:

Please ensure you inform us as quickly as possible if you keep your child out of school with suspected symptoms.

As it stands, we have no pupils self-isolating, and the staff testing programme is in full swing.

However, we are aware that in other parts of Croydon and nearby parts of other boroughs, the Brazillian strain has been identified, so keep vigilant.
Attendance Champions

All the above will get an extra break time to enjoy this week.

Red Nose Day

We will be celebrating a belated Red Nose day this coming Wednesday by asking all children to wear as much red as they can on the non-uniform day and a voluntary contribution of £1.00. We are trying to keep all additional events as low key as possible while continuing to resettle the children back into as regular a routine as possible.

Holi Celebrations

This Tuesday, the academy will be learning about the Holi festival - please make sure you know that this will involve A LOT of colours and painting. We will do our best to keep things as tidy as possible.
