Our Week - 26th - 30th April 2021
Sunday 02 May 2021
This week we say goodbye to someone who has been a part of the academy for three years. Mr Haskins will be moving on to pursue a different career path (and a hugely healthy focus on his quality of life!) in his home town of Brighton. We respect his commitment to travelling to us every day for the last three years but have no doubt he will feel the difference. Now 10minute cycle along the Brighton promenade will feel a little different, we are sure, but we wish him the very best for the future.
Please respect each other and the requests of the school
Please use the entirety of the arrival window DONT all arrive at 1520
Respect the line - don't push in - if you are causing an issue in the line, you are compromising the safety of the academy community. We will take the matter seriously.
Please wear a face-covering in the line unless you are exempt; it keeps us all safe.
Please move through the site quickly and do not stop for social reasons or provide snacks or adjust clothing for your child. They can wait the 3 minutes until you are offsite; the people are waiting behind you in the line can not.
Please ensure you inform us as quickly as possible if you keep your child out of school with suspected symptoms.
As it stands, we have no pupils self-isolating, and the staff testing programme is in full swing.
However, we are aware that in other parts of Croydon and nearby parts of other boroughs, the Brazillian strain has been identified, so keep vigilant.
TENZING CLASS - 98.9%
GAUDI CLASS - 97%
All the above will get an extra break time to enjoy this week.
TIGHT competition this week Pirum edges out Malum by 4 points! all to go for next week!

Polling Day - YEAR 5 TRIP
On Thursday 6th May we will be hosting the local elections - this wasnt something we were given any options on! We will be issueing packed lunched to all children as the dining hall will be secured and closed for the day.
Ark Blake have very kindly agreed to host Yr5 for the day to limit the interuption to their day and provide Year 5 with insight into the coming transition to secondary.
The academy will be using home learning to support the pupils with the remainder of this years curriculum - we will be posting this on Seesaw weekly.
